This year`s summer conference will focus on generational issues such as green technology, clean environment, future challenges and possibilities within the maritime industry.

YoungShip´s core purpose is to provide a competence and network enhancing arena for our members, and to promote the young professionals in the global maritime industry. We also have a particular focus on developing the young generations´ knowledge and interest for environmental developments, innovation and entrepreneurship.

YoungShip Haugesund has invited leading experts, politicians, corporate executives and students to share and discuss their views on green energy technology within the maritime sector, young people`s role in shaping the maritime future and what innovation and digitization means for the shipping industry on the 27th of August 2016.
